Wet Season Photography Packages Just for You

Photography is heavily dependent upon the weather, the time of day and the season. The scheduling of sessions matches the time of day (natural lighting) and the weather (rain and humidity) to the genre of photography focused on. My sessions are flexible, learner-focused and about you and your photography learning dreams.

Take a look through the Wet Season photography learning packages offered that best suit your schedule, interests and learning needs:

A – BEGINNER COURSES (Wet season/Build-Up October to April)

Group sessions: $48/person (2 hrs)

  • Groups are capped at 8 people, to ensure everyone has quality 1:1 time with Gayle. A Two-hour duration lesson, the first 20 mins or so unpacks the dynamic theory of the Exposure Triangle – Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO and the way these settings work together.
  • Participants are guided through setting their cameras in Manual mode, or Shutter and/or Aperture priority. Each change in setting is explained with demonstrations and practice so you see how your choice of aperture, shutter speed, ISO drastically nuances your image capture.
  • Then we move outside to Gayle’s chosen location. You’re coached in Composition rules and given stimulus images to practice reproducing. This teaches participants to see the possibilities of great photos in ordinary settings!

B – NON-BEGINNER COURSES (Wet season/Build-Up)

Group sessions: $50/person (2 hrs)

  • Groups are capped at 8 people to ensure everyone has quality 1:1 time with Gayle. During a two-hour lesson, the first 20 minutes or so are spent unpacking each attendee’s unique learning needs. If you are a more experienced photographer, you can suggest the technique/knowledge you want to practice and learn for your time in this session, e.g., bokeh, depth of field, sports photography, low-light photography, etc.
  • Then we move outside on location, as you’re coached in the techniques you need support in and are given stimulus images to practice reproducing
  • NB: Non-beginner sessions require pre-session communication so the location/timing of the session matches the group's learning needs

Q – What if it’s raining?

A – Good question 😊 I have some community spaces in mind where light pours indoors through large windows.

Alternatively, porticos and balcony-sheltered areas can also work. Please note that after a rainy location shoot, post-shoot care of your camera and lenses will be required, but I can help you with that.
